Kontek's in-house manufacturing facility guarantees the quality and reliability of every filter press.
The
Kontek Junior series filter presses feature a two-stage air over oil automatic hydraulic activation lever and the press is closed to operating pressure and ready for use. A factory-set pressure relief system avoids over pressurizing the hydraulic system. At the end of the press cycle a simple lift of the release valve allows a specially designed spring assist return system to automatically retract the steel follower tail plate and the press is ready for clean-out. A two stage manual hydraulic system is also available on the Junior series filter presses.
The
Kontek Major series filter presses feature fully automatic operation controlled from a conventionally located control panel. The control panel houses the system's monitoring gauges and pneumatic switching systems. The hydraulic systems feature heavy duty double acting hydraulic cylinders,
high quality proprietary hydraulic pumps complete with air filter/regulator/lubricator, and hydraulic oil reservoir level indicator.

All Kontek Filter Presses are factory tested and preset for the correct operating and safety pressures. Kontek filter presses feature one-piece molded high-density polypropylene corrosion resistant filter plates.
